President Franklin Roosevelt called the December 7, 1941 horrible Pearl Harbor attack "the day which will live in infamy." Within weeks he ordered plans for a retaliatory attack on Japan. It became the April 18, 1942 "Doolittle Raid" and included a Wisconsin flier with Price County relatives.
