Heritage Credit Union display honors veterans

President Franklin Roosevelt called the December 7, 1941 horrible Pearl Harbor attack "the day which will live in infamy." Within weeks he ordered plans for a retaliatory attack on Japan. It became the April 18, 1942 "Doolittle Raid" and included a Wisconsin flier with Price County relatives.

Quote from research paper by Scott Mess who has "relative connections" to the raid -- "The plan was to raid Japan was conceived in January of 1942.
