County Forestry manages rising revenues

Administrator Eric Holm had good news for the Forestry and Parks Committee last week reporting that the revenue numbers for the self-sustaining forestry department were hale and hearty.

Last year had been a good year for loggers and conversely, for the Forestry and Parks Department, he said.

"But, this year it looks even better," Holm told committee members last week. "There is some high price stumpage out there and so we'll see how the timber sales come in."
