According to Price County Tourism Director Kathy Reinhard, supporters of opening county highways for the use of All Terrain and Utility Terrain Vehicles (ATV and UTVs) have been campaigning hard for the passage of the ordinance change that it would take to make the recreational vehicles traveling on the highways legal.
Reinhard advised the Forestry and Parks and Tourism Committee that there are many supporters and likewise - many opponents to the proposal.
She presented the committee with an email she'd received from Gary and Barb Revak of Phillips, asking for support from the Tourism Department. Reinhard was in turn asking the committee for its opinions.
